Living at Casa Cielo
With a tranquil setting located in the community of 4S ranch, in San Diego, our brand new six resident home features all private rooms and two full-time care partners. Our care partner to resident ratio of 1:3, provides optimal care (better than any other memory care facility in the San Diego area). Our home’s secure outdoor space boasts a gorgeous fireplace, sitting area, covered eating area, expansive garden and numerous fruit trees.

Our Staff
At Casa Cielo when we refer to our staff, we prefer to use the term care partner instead of caretaker. We believe that our residents are the most important aspect of our care process and therefore should have a partnership with the staff members who will be assisting them with their daily needs. In creating a partnership between our staff and our residents, we are able to ensure an environment of trust, empathy, empowerment and optimal care. Our care partners are compassionate, qualified, reliable and have extensive experience and training in the area of residential memory care. We have one of the most selective care partner selection processes in the assisted living industry and will not hire someone unless we know that they will be a perfect fit for our home and our residents.
Our Training
At Casa Cielo, we place a huge emphasis on the importance of staff training. We believe that providing our staff with enough training isn’t just good business, it’s moral imperative. Our care team is trained and tested on specific care situations, including Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia, activities and engagement, elderly nutrition, and much more. With a unique focus and specialized training on memory care, our staff is certified through the Alzheimer’s Association essentiALZ program and specially trained in the CARES dementia approach. Our dedication to continually training our staff ensures that we never stop learning, adapting and developing better care practices for our residents and our community.
